MYG Beach Picnic

We will be going to Del Rey Lagoon park, a beautiful site that we visited last year and had lots of fun in. All families are invited to attend! We will have a delicious BBQ, followed by an afternoon of fun, sports, and socialization. The admission price is $5 for adults and 3$ for children under 13, and everyone is encouraged to come! Please email us and RSVP as soon as possible, also including the number of people who will be attending so we can make proper arrangements for food. We are also trying to organize a carpool system from the ICSC to the park for people who cannot make it on their own, however we need volunteers who would be willing to drive. If you would like to volunteer, or would need transportation from the ICSC, please reply and ask us. We will be sure to update anyone who asks for this with the proper carpool information.

Before the beach picnic begins, MYG members are gathering to help with the food pantry at the ICSC. The food pantry is a regular community service activity in the mosque where needy families come to collect bags of groceries. We will be doing this from 10-11, then leaving for the beach so we can arrive at 12. If you would also like to participate in this, please note so in your reply. See you on Saturday insha'Allah!
